Our History

SUNTEKS AS. was founded in 1977 as a textile dyehouse in Bursa, Turkey.

With the addition of weaving, rotary printing, digital printing and finishing departments, Sunteks designs and manufactures performance and varied fabrics of the textile industry and has transformed into a fully integrated dyeing partner for the needs of its customers while keeping sustainability and respect for the environment as a fundamental principle.

1977Sunteks Established

Sizing

Sunteks was founded in 1977 by Rafet Kahraman and its activity consisted solely of sizing yarns for weaving companies, this process is the first important operation in the preparation of yarn for weaving in the textile and clothing industry.

1984 - 1986New Department Creation

Weaving & Dyehouse

Between 1984 and 1986, the company invested in new machines and opened two new departments: Weaving and Dyeing.
The company continues its sizing activity for its customers, as well as for its own weaving department where Premium type fabric collections will be developed. With the Dyeing department, the company dyes its Basic and Premium type fabrics.

1994New Department

Yarn Dyeing

In 1994, the company diversified again by creating a new department, that of yarn/fiber dyeing, allowing it to expand its collection of Premium fabrics and to enter the home textile sector at the same time.

1995 -2003New Department

Rotary & Digital Printing

The company continued its momentum in terms of diversification with its new rotary printing activities in 1995 and digital printing in 2003.
With these new activities, it can now print designs of up to 12 colors on fabric (rotary printing) and is capable of processing high-quality designs consisting of millions of colors and creative effects thanks to the innovative technology of the 'digital printing.
